Our Itinerary: 

Komphong Pluk Village

In the morning meeting participant near Grand Hotel at 7:00am we start our ride toward Prei Monti Temple and through local village stopping at a traditional market. After that we continue cycling to Kampong Phluk is a bit pricier than Chong Khneas tours, but they are well worth the difference. Kampong Phluk is a set villages based on the floodplain of the Tonle Sap Lake, near Siem Reap. There are about 3000 Families. Most of who live in stilted houses. The people depend largely on fishing and tourism for their incomes. On the way you can see a beautiful landscape, fishing activity, people’s everyday life and taking fresh air. This community is Kampong Phluk ecotourism. During the dry season when the lake is low, the buildings in the village seem to soar atop their 6- meter stilts exposed by the lack of water level rises again. The villagers move back to their permanent houses on the floodplain. The stilts now hidden under the water.

Remark: From mid of February until July is low level of water. Therefore, the visitors need to travel a bit further to the port. And program could be flexible due to the real situation
